BEAUTIFIL ROLLEICORD Vb SCHNEIDER XENAR 75 MM 3.5 LENS TLR CAMERA NEED WORK! EX.
The 5B was flagship of This famous Rolleicord medium format film camera range and were used by serious photographers and celebrities alike due to ease of use , quality Germany engineering and quality optics . This was purchased at an estate sale and has been sitting for a very long time unused! I am not a canera expert but here is what I found out when testing without a film as I didn’t have the film it uses : the focusing works great , the optics appear very clean as is the mirror inside , it’s a very clean camera as you can see from the pictures , the problem is the shutter don’t work , the lever which is tied to the aperture opening of the taking lens moves the aperture blades but it very hard to move it and the shutter engaging lever don’t work . If this can be fixed the buyer will be the proud owner of probably the best Rolleicord made. Due to above shutter problem is being sold ASIS condition for repairs only!
