    Description

From an estate sale, here's a huge Emerson Pedestal Fan (Type K60-SP, Style 140-4622) on a chromed steel Emerson Column (Type 100). Made in the USA circa late 1940s, this heavy duty fan stands 7' tall with a powerful 2-speed motor and an aluminum 3 clover-leaf bladed propeller that spans 30" in diameter. This was the largest version of this model series, motor can adjust upward and I believe the column can extend up to 9 feet tall!
    Art Deco meets Atomic!
A wonderful example of American industrial design with its Art Deco cage design and concentric circular tiered cast-iron base which combines nicely with its bullet-nosed motor that resembles an airplane propeller! Just an extraordinary post-war fan that works well ~ whisper quiet on low, hurricane force on high.
All original finish and paint. Well marked, retains its Emerson Electric cage metal badge, St. Louis, Mo; Fan Duty Motor metal badge (RPM1025/500, HP 1/3, PH 1, VOLTS 115, AMPS 3.1, CYC 60); and Emerson Electric Floor Column badge (Type 100), St. Louis, Mo, USA.
Great for any large space where you need to move the air!
Nice shape overall considering its age ~ all original, unrestored, nothing broken and works well. AC Plug is marked P&S and is pretty busted up so you may want replace it down the road. The toggle switch is missing its tightening nut but fan works fine as is (see all photos).
