Rolleiflex 3.5f Planar [EXC+] CLA'd by Harry Fleenor w/ Case + Extras

Description

For auction here is an exceptionally clean Rolleiflex 3.5f Planar - which, because of it’s great condition never really got used, it lived in a camera bag, in a closet, and is now looking for a new home.  If it weren’t for a few small blemishes it would be considered in mint condition- but alas, it isn’t- still, quite a beauty as you can see.
I sent it to Harry Fleenor last summer for a CLA procedure so it will now be in the best shape possible for the new owner. Everything working as it should.
Everything on it is secure and tight, leatherette clean and free of marks, knobs with sharp knurling, everything turns and moves with the resistance it had when it was new, solid clicks, hinges working properly, things open and close with authority-
etc - I assume the previous owner(s) hadn’t used it much as the only real marks I can see are on the back panel plate (which you can see in the pics). As well there are very minor scuffs on the winding handle, and a minuscule chip on the top corner of the viewing hood- This is seriously nit-piking but I want
to list everything I can about this.
In Harry Fleenor’s description upon receipt he stated “Taking lens has separation front group”. I can’t see this at all, even with shining a flashlight in there,
but then again Fleenor is able to find things that most would overlook- so, I want to add that to the item description and let you know before you decide.
The camera comes with a full leather case in great condition aside from a few scuffs on the meter cover (I bet someone could address this and make it less visible) , the satin lens cap is minty as well.
I’m also including in the auction a lens hood which is I would say slightly less than mint? - in a case which is in similar condition, a Rolleinar close up attachment, - also mint, in a case to match, a Heliopan UV filter, and a Heliopan polarizing filter- both perfect as well.
And finally a Rolleiflex tripod mount- which is really nice and will be good if you actually use this camera, which honestly, I hope you do-
Ok- Thats about everything I can think to say- I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it and actually spend time with it- even if it’s just in a glass display case and you interact with it now and again- these are special and from an era when things were built to last and I feel that it’s good to be reminded of that.
