Description
My father acquired the camera during his military service in WWII. He back it home when he was discharged from the US Army in 1946. It was serviced about 30 years ago when I was living in San Francisco. Since then it has sat on a shelf at home for the last 40+ years. The Rolleiclub maintains a data base of all Rollei TLR camera's by year and model numbers. According to their data base, the camera Model is 6RF 621. It was produced between February 1932 and January 1935.
The Compur shutter: 1-1/300 seconds, T & B. Film 6x6 (120 mm) and 35mm with adapter set.
Taking lens: Zeiss Tessar 3.8/75
Finder lens: Heidoscop Anastigmat 3, 1/75mm
Filter size 24
Film Transportation: winding lever, film counter, red window for spooling to first frame on and under back (found only on the earliest models), film pressure plate without color coating. Manual shutter tensioning.
I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the shutter but it does seem to work adequately
