*FILM TESTED* VINTAGE RUSSIAN LUBITEL II MEDIUM FORMAT 120 (6x6) TLR CAMERA

Description

This must be one of the most underrated TRL cameras around! These cameras were produced in Russia by the millions for the masses, yet they were very well built and the lenses were real gems being very sharp and contrasty. And they just don't die and keep on working without any glitches.
This sample is in excellent condition. It was very well looked after and the body has virtually no scratches, marks or blemishes. The fact that it was kept in it's original case all these years obviously contributed to the fine condition. The ground glass is crystal clear. The only missing item is the small magnifying glass which swung out over the ground glass for critical fine focussing when doing macro photography. It was in any case a schlepp to use.
The shutter fires happily and the lenses are crystal clear with no haze, scratches, dust or fungus. Apertures are fine and focussing is smooth.
